Methi matter Malia is  tasty combination of  fenugreek and green peas. Enriched with cream, cashew nuts   and  poppy  seeds. Best eaten  with  hot  rotis.

Ingredients for Methi matter malai
11/2 cup fenugreek leaves [methi] leaves chopped,
 
1/4tsp cumin seeds [jeera].
 ½ cup green peas, ½ cup  milk,
 
3 tsp cashewnuts,2 tsp poppy seeds[khus-khus].
Method for Methi matter malai
 Wash fenugreek leaves, add ½ tsp of salt, and leave aside for 10 min, then squeeze out the water.
  In microwave safe bowl, combine 1 tsp of oil with the cumin seeds and fenugreek leaves and microwave on hig 2 min.. remove and keep aside
In another microwave safe bowl, combine the green peas with 2 tsp of water and micro for 1 min.
 In a microwave safe bowl, add the remaining 1tsp oil, the prepared paste and micro for 2 min.
Add the milk, cream, sugar, salt and the cooked fenugreek and peas and micro for 2 min. serve hot
