About Papad 

Papad is a favourite ethnic food of the vegetarian Gujarati people who live in Western India. Papad is a non-fried item and made with very little or no oil for roasting.

Ingredients for Papad ki sabzi

* 100 gm Papad (fried and broken into 1 inch pieces)
* 5 tsp ghee
* 250 gm yogurt 
* 1/2 tsp cumin seeds 
* 1 tsp coriander powder 
* 1 tsp red chilli powder
* 3 tsp ginger-garlic paste
* ½ tsp chopped ginger 
* 2 tsp chopped green chillies 
* 1 tsp chopped fresh coriander 
* Salt to taste for Papad ki sabzi.

Method for Papad ki sabzi

1. Heat ghee in a pan adds the ½ tsp cumin seeds.
2. When they start to crackle add ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, and coriander powder and turmeric powder.mix well.
3. Fry for 2-3 minutes over medium heat, add chopped ginger and green chillies.
4. Then add the beaten yogurt and fry for another 2 minutes.
5. Add ½ cup of water and bring to a boil.
6. Put the Papad pieces into the boiling gravy and lower the flame to a simmer and
7. Cook for 4-5 minutes.
8. Season to taste, remembering that Papad is already salted.
9. Garnish Papad ki sabzi with fresh coriander. Serve Papad ki sabzi hot.
