Dry Fruit Cake 
Dry Fruit Cake Recipe
Ingredients for Dry Fruit Cake
• 2 cup dates, pitted and quartered.
• 2 cup dried cherries.
• 2 large eggs, room temperature, lightly beaten.
• 2 cup golden raisins.
• 1/2 tsp salt.
• 1 1/2 cup dried apricots, quartered.
• 1/2 tsp baking soda.
• 1/2 cup unsalted butter.
• 2 cup granulated sugar.
• 1 cup brandy.
• 1 tbsp almond extract. 
• 2 cup slivered almonds.
• 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg.
• 2 cup all-purpose flour.
• 1 cup dried cranberries. 
• 1 tsp ground cinnamon.
• 2 cup water for  dry fruit cake
 
How to make Dry Fruit Cake
 
• In a large saucepan, mix first 9 ingredients.
• Bring to a boil over medium high heat, then reduce to low & cook 10 min, stirring every once in awhile.
• Remove from heat & cool to about room temp.
• Preheat oven to 275 degrees F, then grease & flour a 12-c Bundt pan.
• In a large bowl, & the cooled fruit mixture, then stir in the the lightly beaten eggs, the almond extract, mix the next 6 ingredients which are dry, & mix well.
• Spoon batter into the prepared Bundt pan & bake for at least 2 hrs & 20 mins.
• Toothpick in the center should come out clean.
• Cool in the pan on a wire rack for 20 min. then unmold onto a serving plate & cool completely.
