Ingredients for Methi Paneer Masala
- Paneer 200 gms.
- Oil 1 tbsp.
- Onions 2 medium
- Methi Leaves 1 medium bunch
- Tomatoes 2 medium
- Tomato Puree 2 tbsps.
- Coriander Powder 1 tbsp.
- Lal Mirch Powder 1 tsp.
- Salt t o taste
- Amchur Powder 1 tsp.
- Ginger 1 inch
- Garlic 6-8 cloves
- Green Chillies 2-3
- Hara Dhania For Garnish
How to make Methi Paneer Masala
1.Cut paneer into even sized cubes. Clean, wash and chop fenugreek leaves.
2.Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add the chopped onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes or till it just starts turning brown.
3.Add chopped methi.
4.Make a paste of green chillies, ginger and garlic. Then add ginger, garlic and green chilli paste, stir-fry briefly
5.Add chopped tomatoes and tomato puree. Mix well and let it cook.
6.Add coriander powder, red chilli powder and salt. Mix and add little of water and cook on a high heat. Add amchur and cook.
7.Cover and simmer for 6-7 minutes.
