Paneer Pakoda Curry
Ingredients for paneer Pakoda Curry
1 cup paneer cut into cubes
1 cup gram flour (besan)
½ cup rice flour
Pinch of cooking soda
Salt to taste for paneer Pakoda curry
½ tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
Oil as require
½ tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
2 tomatoes pureed
2 onions pureed
1/2 tsp Garam masala powder
2 tsp cream
1/2 tsp ginger paste
Coriander leaves to garnish for paneer Pakoda curry
Method for paneer Pakoda curry
Make a thick paste of gram flour, rice flour, salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and cooking soda. Dip the paneer pieces in it and fry them till golden brown like pakoras.
Heat 2 tsp oil, add cumin seeds. When it splutters, add onion paste, ginger paste, tomato puree, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, and Garam masala powder, salt and mix well. Allow it cook for five minutes. Add little water to get gravy and boil for 2 min. Add cream and mix well.
Add the fried paneer pieces to the gravy just before serving. Serve paneer Pakoda curry hot with chapatti and rice.
