Ingredients for tandoori paneer pizza
2 pizza bases (8”)
1/2 cup tomato ketchup
1 ½ tsp tomato chilli sauce
2 cup grated mozzarella cheese
Butter amul for greasing and glazing
For the tandoori paneer pizza topping
1 ½ cup paneer (cottage cheese) cubes
1/2 cup capsicum cubes
1/2 cup tomatoes, deseeded and cubed
1 cup onion cubes
1 ½ tsp fresh cream
2 coals (koyla)
2 tsp oil for tandoori paneer pizza
To be mixed into a marinade
1/4 cup curds
1/2 tsp chilli powder
¼ tsp dried fenugreek leaves (Kasuri Methi), roasted and powdered
2 ½ tsp ginger-garlic paste
1/2 tsp Garam masala powder
3 tsp butter
Salt to taste for tandoori paneer pizza
For the tandoori paneer pizza topping
1. Marinate the paneer, capsicum and tomato cubes in the prepared marinade for about 25 min.
2. Heat the butter in a saucepan adds the onion cubes and sauté for some time.
3. Add the marinated paneer, capsicum and tomatoes and fresh cream and simmer for 5-10 min.
4. Remove from the fire and transfer to a bowl.
5. Meanwhile, heat the coals on an open flame to ignite them.
6. Transfer to a small bowl with the help of a pair of tongs.
7. Place this bowl in the bowl containing the topping mixture.
8. Pour oil on the ignited coal and cover the bigger bowl (with a lid).
9. Keep aside for about 5 min and then remove the lid and discard the small bowl.
